With my eyes turned to the past, I walk backwards into the future
— YOHJI YAMAMOTO

As with architecture, sewing patterns are the blueprint and plans to create the perfect garment. As a designer and lifetime sewist, I know the importance of a professionally drafted sewing pattern and clear, concise instructions. As well as understanding a woman’s body, exceptional fit and how to accentuate a woman’s best features.

Three years of design, development, and testing went into each garment in my collection.  Each piece a blank canvas, designed to create a sleek, minimalist silhouette, or give you the opportunity to use your creativity, with embroidery or even paint. It's your garment to express your own style.

Woven textiles and clothing of the past are the inspiration for my collection. Mainly European, grown from seed, hand spun and woven linens of the 18th through the early 20th centuries. Precious fabrics created to clothe farmers and peasants of that era, using their sewing techniques but designed for modern wearability.

In a world of mass manufacturing, lessons from our heritage and the importance of slow fashion, I think are essential now more than ever. Won't you join me on that journey?
